Marantz sr6008; clean sound, large soundstage, excellent performer.

Excited to set up with audessy (orig mic included- $40 bonus) as already sounds great.
In Spider-Man, when the goblin says something from a balcony above to Norman O, it scared the shoes off me!!! Literally turned around expecting to see 'something' in the stairway to my basement. OMG!
Using Polk Monitor 10's as FL/R, csai6 center, no subwoofer yet, and wharfedale valdus 400's as surround. Big bold but accurate sound from music and movies. I planned on hooking up my 200w/channel Adcom GFA-555 to fronts, but it's already so loud the third floor can hear movies from basement without. Likely try it at some point.
Definitely love the Marantz sound!
