Look elsewhere.
Junk. Output just followed the input. A length of wire would perform roughly the same function.
Power transistor hardly made contact with the ill-fitted heatsink but it didn't really matter since it malfunctioned right out of the box.

Good, well-made heavy adapter for your antenna.
Nice and solid with good finish plating and cleanly cut knurling, threads and o-ring surface. I have not had the adapter long so cannot speak to corrosion resistance or other longevity factors but my Tram antenna has performed and held up perfectly and this item seems to be of similar construction and quality.
As with ANY mobile antenna, check your connections occasionally for security.
I prefer NMO connectors but received an antenna with weatherproof PL-259 mount and this makes it work.

Nagoya UT 106 dual-band antenna
Incredible value. I bought this for a UV-82 handheld. Works great (for Rx at least -have only been monitoring) and price was unbelievably low at $3.25 including shipping!. Materials are decent quality. Don't expect the tiny refrigerator-note magnet to hold it to your roof on the highway but other than that it is a super deal.
