Kingfisher Squirrel Proof Lantern Bird Feeder.
1 of 1 found this helpful Squirrels have chewed off both perches in attempt to get to seed, within 24 hours, of my hanging it.....they have not so far reached the seed exit holes, but get around this it would seem, by being able to easily tip the lantern, (which is lightweight and fairly unstable once hanging), so that the seed falls out......my seed content is down but I have yet to see a bird eating it, as they normally take a few days to accept new feeders and the squirrel damage, is a dead giveaway!.🙄......so back to square 1 !!!.
It's a shame , as the lantern is really quite a lovely design and reasonably made but the perches should be metal, and it be designed, that it isn't so flimsy and therefore easily tipped.
