Genuine Homelite 308430016 Recoil Starter Fits Toro Ryobi 3075304 308430001 OEM

Paired components fixed and obsolescence issue.
My older Toro string trimmer powerhead's recoil starter started slipping. I bought what I thought was an exact replacement, but the manufacturer had changed the design slightly and the pawl on the starter wouldn't engage its mating part on the crankshaft. This product included a new mating part as well. Super easy to install, and the one that didn't work is now an on-hand spare for the future.
Soundcraft EFX8 8-Channel Mixer with 24-bit Lexicon Digital Effects

    Exceptional small-format mixer
I was using a Mackie DFX-12 for our weekly open mic when it abruptly stopped outputting. Fearing it was dead, I upgraded to this unit, having previously bought its big brother the FX16i. The Mackie was repaired at a reasonable cost, but I was so happy with the Soundcraft that I sold the Mackie to a friend who still uses and loves it. The Mackie is good, but the Soundcraft is a cut above. This one has become our open mic workhorse, and I continue to marvel at its features and performance. Eight discrete XLR mic channels. DB preamps. Lexicon effects onboard. Sweepable mid EQ. PFL solo switches to check channel levels without messing with the mix. I do miss having a master Aux 1 for controlling all the monitor feeds as a bus, but it's a small task to set each channel independently. It's a little weird to have the power switch under the chassis, where the AC cable also docks, but you'll never accidentally turn it off. The bare metal box seems untrimmed compared to the Mackie's soft edges, but I guess it's usually rack-mounted. I made a pair of cherry-wood "ears" for it (and the big one as well), so it has an old-school console look. Great features, awesome quality, just the right price point. A cut above the other small-format rigs.
SoundCraft Ui16 16-input Remote-Controlled Digital Mixer. Great Condition!! Mint

Terrific bang for the buck, but set up a good network.
This mixer is a real sleeper and a bargain in today's digital audio era. I've used one for two years for twice-weekly open mics and numerous other shows. Its only real limitations have to do with the channel count, number of aux mixes, and recording capabilities. There are 12 standard inputs, half combo xlr/trs (can take either 1/4" phone plugs or male xlr plugs), two RCA line-level inputs (no preamps), and the capability of adding a two-channel USB interface through one of the four USB ports (two on top and two on the side). That's how it gets to be a "16". Channels 1 & 2 are essentially built-in direct boxes for guitars and other instruments with pickups, switchable to high impedance for instruments without onboard preamps. There's also a selection of amp and cabinet emulation for these channels. The user interface is arguably the best in digital mixing. All active channels are metered simultaneously, so it's easy to see at a glance whether audio sources are balanced in the mix. All controls except headphone levels and main output levels are controlled via either wired or wireless devices. Phones, tablets, laptops, or desktop computers. Once the user becomes familiar with the workflow arrangement, it's very logical and intuitive. You can have up to 10 devices controlling the mixer at the same time, which means band members can control their own monitor mixes from a phone on their mic stand. There's also a wealth of features that would ordinarily require outboard rackmounted devices, such as compression and feedback suppression by dbx, four effects engines by Lexicon, and the guitar amp/cabinet emulation by Digi-Tech. There are four Aux outs for monitors (or multi-channel recording), and the two headphone jacks can also be configured as Aux outs with custom cables. The top-mounted USB ports allow the use of a USB stick with MP3s on it for house music, and the same stick can record the stereo master mix. It does not offer true multi-track recording at this price point. The Ui24R at more than twice the price does. One caveat is that the built-in hotspot router is not very robust, and many early users had connectivity problems, causing some to give up on the Ui. The solution is straightforward and inexpensive: use a good dual-band external router to run the network. The manual is not clear as to how to do this, but anyone who knows networking can readily set it up. I've used a Netgear router for 18 months with perfectly reliable service, and the same routers are all over ebay at $10-30. At $399 street price brand new, it's an astonishing value.
