Noodler's can teach you a lot about pens.
Noodler's pens often need some adjustment to work well, but they take it and are easy to work on. The nibs do what they say they will do. The pen is lightweight, easy to hold, and posts securely. They are easy to fill, and the material is nicely colored.

Decent pen, but no cartridge and no converter included
Decent pen from a historic maker, lightweight and well-machined. Too bad it does not include either a converter nor a cartridge, and that these are proprietary. This forces the owner to buy the needed ancillary parts separately at an additional cost.

A book about pens, old and very old.Mr. Bowen evidently updated the book from time to time, and includes photos, history, advertisements, and relevant information about the several manufacturers he lists, their models, materials, technical advancements. The book itself is in pretty good condition, considering its age and that it is a paperback.
