Manufacturer / design error ; filter is too short / small
2 of 2 found this helpful I ordered this replacement filter and the dimensions are off, especially concerning the “height” / length of this filter. The germ guardian air purifier would not turn on when I had this replacement filter in because it does not engage the bottom safety tab like the original filter had done. Whereas the original filter had been a perfect, snug fit when installed inside the germ guardian unit; this replacement filter sits more loosely in comparison, and doesn’t create a good seal around the edges.
