Bought 3 monitors and all are working perfectly. They didn't come with any cables just the screens but I had spares anyway so not an issue.

Maisi IP Camera

I came across the Maisi IP camera which on paper looked ideal for what I needed i.e. monitoring my new-born twins. At 720p its not the highest resolution camera you can buy but then again the retailer Maisi Direct are offering a competitively priced camera within the UK. The camera arrived in a nice sturdy box which included the camera, mounting bracket and a quick start user guide. The camera itself felt well put together and setting it up just took minutes using the recommended software MIPC which is available for PC and mobile devices running Android or IOS. Although the set-up was straight forward I found the MIPC software on Android a bit basic. It allows you to do the usual things such as pan and tilt the camera, zooming in, set-up alerts for motion, stills capture and allows you to record video if you installed a micro-SD card in the camera. The PC version of MIPC does not however allow you to zoom in this is only possible on touch screen devices. The image quality from the camera is more than acceptable for my requirements in day and night modes as a baby monitor. I did have an issue with the camera auto switching to day mode then back to night mode when in a darkened room. This was accompanied by an annoying clicking sound as it switched between modes. I worked round this by manually switching to day or night modes and not allowing the camera to do it itself. Overall I have been happy with my first camera and have since bought a second camera to compliment the first.
