2 of 2 found this helpful Very good design, stright forwards schimatics.. easy to fix pcbs, loving the activated carbon filtration.. there's alot of crappy after market filters around with about 75% less activated carbon in them, just right for a bed room or living room, i've have had the pleasure of fixing three of them all with the same fualt, ac shaded pole motor failure.. coil winding gets very very hot at high speeds. Which will cause problems in a hot environment.. if the motor goes poof it will take out a transistor and resistor with it.. and maybe the fuse and jumper in some cases(pcb)
