works great
only time will tell it worked instantly solved a huge problem with the cluster sex thing at the multi strip that I plugged it into accepted 3 wall warts totally opened up that strip panel
it's about the idea no clue if this will last but all looks great very happy

It sits on desktop sleeping until needed
allows you to use any hard drive without the dysfunctionality of an enclosure
you can switch out any hard drive easily and conveniently from platter (spinning) to Solid State (SSD) EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE ONE you can clone a hard drive or have movies or music on one or just generally anything you want to be able to versatility use this is a great way to do it
I've had one of these for several years now I also have multiple drive bays I can plug a hard drive in to I can have different things on them for instance my music is on a 500gb SSD and my documents are on a 120gb SSD My tower has two drive bays on top built into the case and two in the front in a drive bay I installed (duel)plus a go flex drive bay so with this that makes 6 hard drives I can hook up all at the same time
I use this to run a 1TB platter (wd black) that I store movies on
I just would never be without one of these prefer the eSATA
I run normally 4 hard drives plus this one 5 total normally only 1 is a platter (spinning) hard drive

I also found the mfg has good deals on their own product
I'd order these again and again and they make one smaller too
again great product great value
