Simple and easy to use but not bright enough
Phillip hue bulbs are simple plug and play devices. The app is easy to setup. The hue bridge is also easy to setup. The bulbs always connect to Wifi so no issue from connectivity point of view. The bulb also has brilliant colours. However, the brightest they go to is equivalent to an 80W bulb which is a shame because for around £40 you would expect to use one maybe two bulbs for good coverage and brightness. These bulbs obviously don't do that. I ended up moving the bulb to my bedroom rather than having it in the family room.
