Great to convert Bose Wave radio (and similar devices) into mp3 players
1 of 1 found this helpful Many Bose Wave radios with legacy design will not allow playback of mp3 files with USB port. Why? There is no USB port. The NDVA-1000 provides an answer. You have to purchase it with a 12-Volt power source. Plus you need an output cable that hooks into the Wave Radio: 3.5mm to 2-Male RCA Adapter Cable. The whole setup costs about $30, consumes little space, and does an excellent job of playing your mp3 files on the AUX option of the radio. If you want FM signal -- not very good. Besides, the Wave radio has its own FM capability.

Just what I ordered and works fine.

Good product but expensive and hard to install.
The product does what it is supposed to do. However, an average consumer can't install it. Too complicated, meaning a professional is needed. And it is expensive.
To put it another way, the product cost plus the installation cost totaled $575!
