Solid Upgrade...
...especially if your Studio 17 came with Intel graphics. I knew I was getting ATI graphics on this motherboard, so I was very happy when the system showed it has the Radeon HD5650M chip. Additionally, with the A5 bios, the board recognized the new Core i7 620M cpu I also purchased. These boards are getting scares, so get one while they are around.

Solid CPU Upgrade
0 of 1 found this helpful My wife's Dell Studio 1749 was, in the words of my sons, slow. I put a trio of upgrades to it: This CPU, an ATI graphics motherboard, and a spare Samsung 830 SSD. This system is slow no more. In day to day activities, you won't necessarily notice the i7 over an i3 even, but when you have stuff to do like gaming, the i7 is a worthy upgrade.
