It meets your lowest expectations
Two pieces of injection molded plastic with a hinge on each side so they close like a clam shell. For being thin plastic it is acceptably strong, but it still has a awful lot of flex. When opened my unit will not stay at 90° as to accommodate the runners. I found it very helpful to place a shim of some sort under the front edge of the rack when in use so it is angled back just slightly. This will use gravity to keep the runners pressed against the back grooves so they do not fall like dominoes off to either side.

Useful tech, but no support past Windows Vista
I ordered this just to play around, but can't do a thing with it. I can't install any of the software on my Windows 10 system. Compatibility troubleshooter won't even help.

Great product
Good if you don't have an available M.2 port. It is a bit bulky for what it is. I believe Asus has since released a thinner version.
