Great PC Controller
3 of 3 found this helpful I am thrilled I upgraded to this controller. My Xbox One died recently and I made the decision to switch 100% over to PC. Since I no longer need 4 controllers I wanted to invest in a high quality controller. I'm glad I chose the Razer.
I got it used on eBay and it has performed flawlessly.
Pros:
Intense haptic feedback, separate for triggers and body
Brilliant, bright lighting with many display options
Braided cable
Case with space for extra peripherals
Mechanical face buttons
Synapse for Xbox works well and is intuitive
Quick change between two profiles and the ability to make multiple profiles for different games
Cons:
Controller analog sticks are slippery
The body grip isn't great and is slippery despite having texture
I have small hands and this controller is bigger than I anticipated
The cable has a quick disconnect attaching to the USB head and it was slightly loose and caused me to think my used controller didn't work for no less than 30 minutes of troubleshooting (felt like an idiot). FYI it is built so well it doesn't look like there's a disconnect there so I completely overlooked it until I saw a forum post detailing that as the culprit--problem solved
The cons are manageable: kontrolfreek grips are on the way--though after researching, you must purchase the PS4 stick covers, not the Xbox ones, since the Razer analogs are a larger PS4 size. Apparently the PS4 ones are slightly small but will fit with a bit of extra pressure.
Love this controller. It's served me well on the PC for Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order and Halo since I switched fully to PC.

Cool look, great gaming controller

I wanted a Halo 3 controller that had a little more spice to it than the green 360 edition controller, which I do not own, even though it looks cool. The controller has all the basic features of any wireless Xbox 360 controller with one added, absolutely amazing feature--the second trigger button/rapid fire button. If you are playing Halo 3, COD: World at War, Left 4 dead, or just about any other game that requires split second reaction time then this controller with this feature is for you. It allows you to hold down a small button located on the underside of the controller to the left of the battery pack for continuous firing in a fps game. If you are firing a semi-automatic weapon in any of the above listed games and can't pull the trigger as fast as the competition then you need this button. You hold it down and it turns a semi-automatic into an automatic. You unload the same amount of rounds as fast as the respective weapon is able to unload them, increasing the amount of lead you can dish out into opponents and relieving the stress from the finger that normally pulls the right trigger. In Left 4 dead it turns the dual pistols into a fully automatic 30 round clip machine gun--it's sweet! I haven't found a use for the trigger outside of a fps game, or a way to configure the button to any other one but the right trigger. The great thing about it is that you can use either or, or both to fire with. I didn't know the controller was coming with that feature on it, or that it existed, but I love it. The controller looks great, plays great, and shoots faster than any of my friends controllers. I would highly recommend it to someone who wants a unique controller with some serious first person shooter capabilities.
