Poor design of electronic speed control snap action button switch

Snap action button switch is poor quality. Had to replace it after a month of use. Replaced OEM the switch with an Omron micro switch. The OEM switch doesn't appear to have contacts rated for the nominal 1.6 amp load. The Omron replacement, as with most other similar snap action micro switches are rated for 3 amps max load. Dremel need to upgrade this switch.
