Lovely Assortment for Cat Lovers
This is the perfect gift for all Cat Lovers. Featuring the art of English artist, Susan Herbert, these 20 individual notecards (with envelopes) depict feline subjects in masterpieces in Western art. Each 4 1/2 x 6 card is beautifully reproduced in full color on coated stock.. The cards come in a handsome cardboard box which could be used to store small collectibles.
The only problem with the assortment is the temptation to keep them all. From a feline version of the Mona Lisa to Vermer's Girl with a Pearl Earring and van Gogh's portrait of Sorrowing Old Man, each card would be suitable for framing.
At a price less than $10 and a nominal shipping charge, they are a REAL bargain of less than $15 for any and all cat lovers,.

A Well-Told Story of the Young Girl Who Became England's Longest Reigning Monarch
Author, Kate Williams writes about the life of Elizabeth II, not as dry history, but as an extremely readable story of a young girl destined for unbelievable greatness. Although born with a royal title, Princess Elizabeth of York's destiny was radically changed at age eleven. With the abdication of her uncle David, her father became king and she, the heiress to the British throne.
The story of her life with her family, as World War II ravished her homeland, helped her identify with the lives of the British people. Eleven years later, after the horrors of war had faded and the world was at peace once more, she married her prince charming at age 21. As a young married woman and subsequently, a new mother, her happiness seemed complete.
However, four years later, fate once again intervened with the death of her father. Upon her ascension to the throne, she pledged to advance the happiness and prosperity of her people, a pledge that she has steadfastly kept for .63 years.
