Functional
Beautiful and sharp. It is definitely functional. It appears to be a quality item.

Nice
I like it. Open a few times to get it used to me and then stop it. Came sharp but for me stopping a new knife is a ritual.

Worth the money
The blade is high carbon stainless steel which is strange. I would expect the knife to be one or the other not both. It is a very pretty and appears well balanced. The tang is not advertised as a rat tail which is a definite plus. I believe rat tail tangs are good for show knives no for heavy use. I'm looking forward to using this one.It came very sharp and judging by the description of the steel that I have been able to research should resharpen fairly easily. I have a stropping block that I tend to use after each use of the knife. This helps keep it sharp with only minimum time on the sharpening stones.
