Uncentered valve core remover

Okay for a cheap valve stem puller. It serves it's purpose just fine, but the added valve core remover in the handle is not at all centered in the hole. One would think it would be easy to just force in and unscrew it. That's not the case. I've tried using it changing two valve stems and it just doesn't work. I probably got the one valve stem puller with the defective valve core puller in the whole box.
