Small retro hifi
My daughter wanted to play CDs and likes the retro look of this unit. It can also stream through Bluetooth so she’s not limited to her CD collection. She set it up easily and it sounds good, considering the price - single driver in each speaker and a hole to improve the bass. Easily loud enough for a large bedroom, bass quite boomy, treble not as clear as some standalone Bluetooth speakers I’ve heard at this price.

If you're serious about macro, get this lens.
1 of 1 found this helpful This is a superb macro lens; expensive but worth every penny. The focal length gives it a useful working distance and it's quite feasible to achieve 1:1. There's enough working distance to add a diopter for even more magnification. The focussing is silent and fast; the lens hunts in low light, but just switch to manual focus for macro work and "rock" the camera into focus. Also makes a nice portrait lens (though with a rather long reach).

An overview of his work
1 of 1 found this helpful This double CD contains samples of the whole gamut of Dr. John's considerable output. Having hear a little of his later work, I wanted to hear more. Following the advice from the excellent allmusic.com, I bought this album. The first CD contains an anthology of earlier work and I am less keen on this, preferring the darker, laid back jazz found on the second CD. A useful introduction to Dr. John, although I liked Anutha Zone and Funky New Orleans more. Ths collection has something for everyone, so I suppose it is inevitable that one would be less keen on some of it. If you have heard and liked some of the output of the Night Tripper, buy this and discover more...
