A good blade.
Bought this as a gift for my daughter. It is sized great for female hands, had food steel, and its pink.
The handles feel a little plastic-y, making is come across as less expensive than it is but overall the quality is right.
Fit, finish, packaging, and steel were all top quality.

Made in the USA
My Pillar arrived without the neoprene washers which made the belt clip not fit to the scabbard correctly.
An email to SOG and washers were on the way immediately.
As doe the knife itself: SOG knocked this one out of the park! S35VN steel, awesome design that feels right in the hand. Finger choil made for striking a fero rod and great ergos. I love the scales on this one which seem thin at first until you get to using this knife. The balance being slightly aft of the hilt works well and the pommel is a functional piece of art.
The Pillar is now my new camping/hiking companion and worth every penny.
Made in the USA, so your hard earned dollars stay home where they benefit us all.
The Pillar is instantly my new favorite all around fixed blade workhorse.

Worth it if you can find one
1 of 1 found this helpful This knife is one solid piece of 5200- ball bearing steel. It is well balanced and sturdy with decent retention in the sheath. It fits nicely in a mid height boot (provided the cuff of the boot isn’t padded because of the clip). The knife arrived lightly oiled and very sharp on both edges.
My one complaint is the lack of texture on the handle.
I hope Cold Steel gets these little boot knives back into production soon but until then if you can find one, get one.
