Difficult to Sharpen
The build quality on this is insanely good and it's slim profile makes up makes up for it's occasional awkwardness.
Don't expect to be sharpening this like you sharpen your kitchen knives.
D2 is harder than my kitchen knife sharpener and it destroyed the blade and the sharpener when I tried sharpening it at home.
The tanto and serrated edge are useful but they make it hard to sharpen.
The opening and locking mechanism is flawless and this knife can handle a beating.
As it sits now it's mostly a fidget toy and occasionally being used as a paperweight.
If you know how to sharpen a knife with a whetstone and leather then go for it. This knife will be more than worth it. But for most people who don't have these things it's going to be hard to keep this thing sharp.

Great Bargain
Excellent light output and color. Very durable and charges quickly.
Would have been perfect if it had a magnetic flat bottom.
I wouldn't ever buy it at MSRP
I suggest using the 3.0 redlithium USB for longer use.
I carry it everyday but it's almost impossible to use it while working. It's only useful when you have an empty hand. You also need 2 hands up focus the beam, so keep that in mind.
I mainly use it for things like site surveys and inspecting and pointing at things.
