Pretty with weak parts

While esthetically pleasing to the eye, the quality of the parts were weak and broke as I tried to build the tree. In order to complete this build, I had to order additional parts to complete. Specifically the LEGO Plate 1 x 2 with Horizontal Clip on End. They did not have the translucent green, so I had to go with reddish brown. This is not the first time I have encountered quality control issues from sets ordered from overseas, where clips broke easily. It is most disappointing as the build would have been pleasing to the eye as was. That is not possible with broken core pieces. The music box worked and the micro LED. But still a disappointment when it falls apart while you try to build it. I am going to try to build it with the extra parts ordered, I will share pictures of broken parts and the parts I used to replace it when done.
