Worthless garbage
Horrible. The sponge separated from the attachment bracket within the first hour of use. A complete waste of money.

For a meaningful review, ignore the "yes" or "no" dichotomy.
We got this to replace the original remote control which had been poorly responsive. While it's good that the replacement works as it should, the fact that the original wore out suggests that this remote is not very durable.

The lamp illuminates inside my HVAC air purifier
The light looks whiter than the old OEM bulb it replaced. Unfortunately, I'm not equipped to evaluate its performance for germicidal ultraviolet radiation or photolysis. It cost far less than the OEM product, but I'm unable to determine its effectiveness.
