Good light with ugly gold lettering all over it

I wanted these for a chandelier above our kitchen table. What you can't see in the product picture for some reason is the MASSIVE dark gold lettering all over the bulbs. It makes them ugly. Can't use them where I wanted to. Ended up just using them in one of our bathrooms instead, where it doesn't really matter. It would have been the perfect light otherwise.

Amazing workhorses, great for virtualization!

Can't go wrong with a well-specced R610 for anything except the heaviest workloads. Are you Google? No? Then this is powerful enough for you. Extremely happy with these running ESXi as well as Server 2008 R2 natively.

An x86 DOS PC in your pocket: A milestone in portable computing

This is a very interesting piece of computing history. The HP LX series took a full 80186 PC and made it small enough to put in your pocket. It runs off two AA batteries and can go for months on a pair of alkalines. Includes a PCMCIA slot of limited usefulness. Most cards took too much power for the HP to provide, but it can be used to greatly expand storage, as well as expanding connectivity with a certain few models of Ethernet and modem cards that met the power requirements. If you enjoy vintage computers, this is one that you must have in your collection.
