For me, this is not the vacuum my Rainbow is
0 of 1 found this helpful For as long as I have seen the Dyson ad I have wanted one. My first pass across the floor and I knew I was mistaken. I have a Rainbow,18yrs, and after one pass I can see the difference.
I have 3 cats, so you can imagine the hair. After cleaning the entire floor I had less than a hand full of hair,etc in the container. In my waterbath Rainbow, I have 3 x the amount.
Second,The 'wand' that extends from the machine to get to the 'hard to get to places', is extremely, if not impossible, for me, to use. It extends, with difficulty, from the top meaning it is adequate to do anything above the height of the machine. Unless I missed something, this mean everytime I wanted to do the heater vents etc. the machine wanted to tip.
For me, I will stick with the Rainbow.

I like it, but it could use an adjustable handle as this one is a bit short.
It fills quickly and is more difficult to empty than anticipated.

Difficult to essemble.
It took me several hours to remove all the sightes from my 10-22 and try to get all the plastic to fit together. I had to resort to a rubber hammer to make the piece fit together.
