Lovely set of historic books
Really beautifully packaged with tissue paper and boxed set nicely snuggled in an outer cardboard box. Only downside was that this was a gift for my neighbours daughter who has just given birth to a daughter. The package is sealed and on the underside it has the price label which is printed into the box. (Underneath the film) It isn't a sticker so unless I take the clear packaging off and use a marker pen, I've chosen to leave it otherwise it will look like I have bought it at a boot sale.
The item is amazing and deserves 5 out of 5. I feel sure my neighbours daughter will love them as much as my own children did.

Listed as VG condition - disappointed.
I've bought from world books previously and this one arrived. The inside of the book is fine and dandy and what one might expect from a second hand book. What turned my stomach and my husbands when I got around to opening what was seven in the series. This one had strange spillage plastered over the cover. At first I thought it was part of the front cover and when I ran my hand over it I realised it wasn't and showed my husband. I felt sick to the stomach. It was removable with a damp cloth. I had bought the series after watching the dark tower movie. I did have all his works in hardback until my collection of books was so great I donated them to the book skip some 8 years ago. 900 to be exact amongst other many writers. I don't wish for this to come across (excuse the pun) as a bad review as I have purchased from you many times with no problems and no expectations of expecting a brand new book. I do however think your quality standards need to be improved in this instance. I put the book on one of my many bookshelves today and I have attached photograph of the offending substance on it's spine.
I am genuinely sorry to have brought this to your attention. The book has now been placed in the refuse.
