A great 3rd party controller you can find for PS3.
I feel compelled to write this review, because there are probably tons of gamers like myself looking for a 3rd party PS3 controller that works.
This is the closest you are gonna get to an actual Playstation controller. I've had 3 different 3rd party controllers, and the Snakebyte is the best of all of them by far.
Pros: Responsive, buttons work great, rumble function works well.
Cons: Doesn't turn on the PS3, wired connection.
If the original playstation controller is a 5 star controller, the Snakebyte is definitely a 4 star. Responsive, tough, cheap, and easily available.
I bought 2 of them(both new), and I can now play all my old school PS3 games. Woo-hoo!

Older model but excellent nevertheless.

1. metal chassis- very sturdy, and it can take some crazy abuse. I have seen these thrown across a room before only to be hooked up and work perfectly. It's the Shure 57 of guitar multi-effects.
2. Tap-tempo delays- a nice big footswitch up in front right where it should be. Perfect for syncing delays to your bpm.
3. Modeling- the modeling on the PXTL is a bit old, from around 2004 I think, but it still sounds really, really good. It beats out both the Tonelab and the Digitech multis I have owned.
I play things like PJ Harvey, Iron Maiden, and Radiohead, and there are plenty of patches and programming that suits all 3 of those bands.
4. Ease- If you are familiar with multis at all, then this one will be very, very easy to program, especially with the great software downloads.
Dislikes:
1. Power input- If you do not give the unit a little extra cable around the power ac input, then it is very easy to pull the power supply loose, or to break your power cable. Tape fixes this prob easily
2. No True bypass- You can program it so all modeling is off on your channel, but it is still not "true" bypass. Fortunately the coloration you get from this is miniscule.
3. Comp/lead boost- no true comp/lead boost on this unit like the POD X3 Live has. Once again it can be programmed, but its not the same.
4. Effects patches- Why oh why does line 6 think we need 45 patches we will never ever use? Yes they are fun tp play with . . . for about 15 minutes. However, the programmability and the actual good patches are fantastic.
Overall:
This is the 2nd Pod XT Live I have owned. To me that says that the PXTL is a trustworthy, great-sounding product that happens to be in the perfect used price range for what it achieves.
It's a great pedalboard.

It’s ok, but there are way better jacks out there.
2 of 2 found this helpful Bees wax seal isn’t very good and cracks easily, and the leather isn’t of very good quality. It holds around 10-11 ounces, so you can’t even get a 12 ounce can into it.
It’s alright and I’ll keep it, but I would never buy again.
This is the 4th jack I’ve purchased since I started collecting them, and there are far better jacks out there. Hope this helps people.
