Charger did get hot...
Battery on Laptop was tatally dead, I assume the charger got very hot only because it was being overworked first time.
And it turned out the owner I bought it for only needed the cord for the outlet. It was cracked... So she is now using the old one with no trouble... I am keeping the replacement....
