Sennheiser HD 559 Open-Back Around-Ear Headphone - SKU#1320117

Great headphones if you have the right adapters or hardware.

I was looking for something to replace my Sennheiser HD449 headphones. In a sense these are not a direct replacement, as they don't directly plug into a phone. It has a 1/4" jack only. For now I've been using them with an adapter to be able to connect to the USB-C port in my phone. This therefor would not be okay for everyone, but as I'm using them they are both loud enough, and the sound is incredibly good. As far as ergonomics, I think these headphones are great as well. They are not too heavy, and the pads completely cover my ears. I have been able to use them for extended periods with my glasses on and they don't cause any pain or discomfort. Later on I plan to use these with a headphone amp. These are probably better with a good amp, but I can't say for sure at this point.
