U.K. - U.K. (1990 original release 1979)
This album was the culmination of the progressive rock era. An album that had to happen. Eddie Jobson, Bill Bruford, John Wetton and Allan Holdsworth coming from such diverse groups and Roxy Music, Yes/King Crimson, Soft Machine and Tony Williams Lifetime brought exquisite musicianship with a probity into what shouldn't work but absolutely does anyway. Songs in 7/8 time and other odd meters, Jazz/Almost Jazz guitar solos, vibrant violin solos, dizzyingly unpredictable drum fills and a vocal lyric context that has only literary context. Wow 30 years later this album still stands as a gem of the genre. If you don't like music that makes you think pass this one by, but if you're up for intellectual stimulation amalgamated with a heavy dose of the unexpected and the musicianship, did I mention the exquisite musicianship, this is a must buy.

Dough hook Kneading at its best.
This saves my hands a lot of work when it comes to kneading the dough. It's very easy to clean and store.
