Pioneer Elite SC-07 A/V Receiver

Outstanding

Some years ago I bought a Pioneer Elite amp for my home theater, not only because of the reputation but the fact it also supported a phono input. After more than a decade of daily use, the old one died, and the repair estimate was in excess of $600. I made the mistake of replacing it with a Marantz that offered HDMI inputs and a phono stage. Well, the Marantz lasted about four years, and it never sounded as good as the Pioneer. I knew I would be looking for another Pioneer Elite, and I found this one here on EBay. The sound quality out of it is so amazing that I find myself digging through my music library for stuff I haven't listened to in ages just to see what it sounds like, and old movies to re-experience the sound effects.
