If you like Glen Campbell, this is a must have.

Another Great Resource for Appalachian Researchers!
As a historical and family researcher, I find this book to be quit interesting and of great value to anyone who has an interest in Appalachian Christian roots of SW VA and KY. I purchased the book because I'm related to Raccoon John Smith and wanted to learn more about him, his family, the life of a preacher and the culture of the people in the 1700/1800's. This is a well-written book. I highly recommend it. Some of the more well-known families like Bowen, Breckinridge,Campbell, Caudill, to name only a few, are mentioned as well as many Churches and Christian organizations in Appalachia.
