Great pedal board addition for wah and volume control.
Very acceptable wah tones and volume swell function.
Fits on pedal board - Recommend using it on the lower level of your board if you have multiple levels, this lets your foot adjust to it well.
Great value.
Sturdy.
Not having a 9v battery option is a small drawback.

Mid-80s SQ Series MIJ Squier Strat is GREAT
1 of 1 found this helpful There are lots of Squiers, stretching back to the early -mid 80s to current production.
I have a mid-80's "SQ" series made in Japan. Build quality and materials were outstanding and make for some very playable, toneful guitars. Mine is featherweight and super resonant. The factory pickups were so-so, but if you are lucky enough to find one of these, it will probably have aftermarket pickups. If it has the originals, they are easy to swap out. In addition to some killer pickups, mine got a Kahler trem bridge somewhere along the line (terrific) that replaced the budget standard six-screw-mount strat trem. These guitars get overlooked, but shouldn't... if you want a great Strat TO PLAY instead of look at/collect, you can't go wrong with one of these vintage MIJ Squiers.

Easy, Solid, and Great Sounding banjo pickup
1 of 1 found this helpful First off, I've used K&K products and enjoyed them. I'd been looking at their banjo pickup but some users rightfully complained about the weezy tiedown jack mount. The solid, secure jack mount on the JJB pickup is what got my attention. I was willing to bet that the piezo transducers are sourced from a common point so expected the sound would be comparable.
Installation was a snap. Literally 5 minutes. Installed the jack mount. popped the back off. mounted the twin piezo elements (double sided tape). reinstalled the jack barrel in the jack mount. replaced the back.
Sound is great. Feedback levels are more than acceptable and easily manageable. My first install is in a GoldTone composite banjo (surprising good sound+projection, indestructible, great for gigs where you don't want to risk something more collectible). Based on the results, I'm going to install another in my GoldStar.
Thanks to JJB for an excellent product (and very customer-centered service)!
