Nothing Else Like It
There is literally NOTHING on the market like these. Up to 25 keys (One alternates as a Joystick Button), each programmable with up to three macros. An ANALOG thumb stick with button, that can be also be a hat switch or emulate a mouse. Switching between macro sets is a fingertip away from the keys, you don't even have to move your hand to reach the select buttons. RGB lighting. Macros can be recorded on the fly. And finally, a programmable display screen that can use LUA programming language with an absolute library of apps that it can use. Mine shows me temps and fan speeds most of the time.
They DO NOT make these any more, and frankly, there is nothing quite like it. Not just for games, but CAD Designers and Video Editors snapped these things up. They are just that useful. Logitech gets regular requests to make a v2, but so far they have been deaf to these requests. There is a reason a New-In the Box model commands a Premium price. They're worth it. If you see a working one under $100, buy it.
They are not without their flaws, though. The two buttons near the thumb stick can die or become bouncy. The stick can acquire drift that is hard to compensate for. The software for them is pretty outdated. My last one lasted well over 10 years before the screen started blanking and buttons started dying. I was so glad to be able to find a different one that still worked.
