Reliable, compatible, and decent performance.
Works great in compatible MacBook Air / MacBook Pro laptops, using a NVME adapter. The performance is comparable with the original Apple SSD products.

Convenient/Cheap for notetaking if you upgrade to Windows 7.
The Thinkpad X41 tablet is a solid performer, when paired with Vista or Windows 7 with tablet extensions and 2 GB of RAM. The original configuration of Windows XP worked fine, but the XP tablet extensions were poorly written, and caused the laptop to act sluggish. Pro: extremely durable, clear screen, long battery life (with an extended-life battery), easy to write on the screen with the stylus, convenient buttons by the screen for use in tablet mode Con: Doesn't show the correct resolution on external widescreen monitors, no Windows key, extremely slow 1.8 inch hard drive (which is difficult and expensive to upgrade), slow graphics adapter, max 2GB ram.

Perfect upgrade for a Thinkpad T450s
The keyboard is an easy upgrade, and I love that it works perfectly without any firmware or other upgrade. It is a bit tricky to get the rubber pieces from under the battery out without mangling them. You may end up needing new rubber pieces, like I did.
