Discs are not gold coloured like they use to be.
Even though they are called gold series they are not coloured gold like they use to be. Other than that I would recommend TDK products anytime. It's all I ever use!

Perfect as a emergency radio!
This is a perfect emergency radio. When South Australia had a 24 hour state wide power failure all I had to listen to was a AM only transistor radio. This purchase has solved the problem. The fact it is a shower radio means it's floodproof as well. Also a perfect radio to use if you end up in hospital for a stay. I much prefer radio listening if I'm sick and stuck in bed rather than a TV!
