Works very well.
I picked up a very similar item about 15 months ago, but one of the straps recently pulled out, mainly from my damp (from the shower) foot sticking in the thing. It wasn't until after this it occurred to me to use a dash of talcum to make life easier. :)
This is almost exactly the same except this nylon is blue, not green. Recommended.
P.S. It really did come quickly.

Not a bad little drive...
I was leery of a $9 usb floppy drive, but took the plunge. It came with a driver disk for most recent Windows versions, but didn't mention Win7, which is what I use on my main system. Good news is that it really was plug'n'play. Windows 7 (Home Premium) recognized it as a removable drive right away, and an icon showed up in the drives pane. I dropped in a couple of old floppies, and it read them just fine. Created a boot disk with format, and what worked as well. It didn't seem to understand formatting a 720k disk I had to hand, but that's a minor issue for me. It could read it just fine.
I got this to transmit files between my newer systems and older, vintage desktops. The only real complaint I have is that they don't have a 5.25" version! I have several old machines with only 5.25" drives on them; a couple only have 360k drives. Ah, well...
If you need a spare 1.44 drive and have a usb port, this is a very good buy.

Nice little model
I got this to accompany the AMT Man In Space kit, also in 1/200 scale. With the addition of this kit I have the entire U.S. manned space program in constant scale.
One might be tempted to downgrade the model since the solid boosters are integral to the main fuel tank, but the result is still quite attractive. The kit is fairly simple, and should build up quite nicely despite being "only" a snap kit. An excellent choice if you're looking for a 1/200 full Shuttle stack.
