Nice upgrade
1 of 1 found this helpful My old control board was a cream colored printed circuit board that showed some obvious overheating around one of the transistors, so that might have explained the erratic behavior. The new one looks to be an upgrade - extra connectors and a very different arrangement of relays and other parts; but there was a connector (and only one that would fit) each of my cables and the holes were in the right spot so I tried it and it works fine.
Just FYI, my refrigerator would work for 5 to 10 hours before going into a state where the compressor was running but the fans were not. That told me that all the basic mechanisms were working so it had to be the control board.
I had previously found the main relay for the compressor had a broken solder joint on the PC board and I fixed that, but it only lasted 6 months before the transistor went. Hopefully this fix will keep the fridge running for a few years.
