Keep tea for day and a half !
I purchased this as I require a flask for a winter camping trip to Norther Sweden and I need a container to keep water hot for half a day. Having had flasks before i know they work best if you prime the flask before adding the liquid you want to keep hot. So i though i would test the claimed period it says it can keep water hot for. I primed the flask with water just of the boil - 1/4 full swirled it around, put the cap back on an left to warm up for 3-4mins. I then emptied the flask and filled it with 1.5L of water just off the boil - temperature reading of 94'C 24hrs later i open to take a reading - 86'C (still very hot for drinks) 36hrs later i opened to take a reading - 70'C (still hot enough for my liking) 38hrs later reading was 67'C I decided that was enough testing :o) The flask well out performed my expectations
