functional but slightly difficult
turning the nob hits a very stiff point on every rotation - not smooth action
the lettering on the dial is not entirely readable - close enough to serve but a long ways from "excellent"

very weak magnet reduces usability
1 of 1 found this helpful screen is very readable, buttons work ok. Alarm is not very loud.
The magnet on the back is very weak, it is unable to hold the timer up on my fridge. thankfully there was enough room once I removed the stand and hook to glue a super magnet (I used gorilla glue).

ok but too fat
GOOD: The pins are suitably fine. Many competitors are large enough to damage the breadboard - these fit but don't stress the sockets.
BAD: the rubber moldings are too large - they interfere with plugging a similar connector into the next spot on the breadboard - if you try to plug these in side by side they lean out (alternate) to make room - so a second row of entries is likely to not be possible
