Fit like a glove in my Cub Cadet
This was an excellent value for the money. I only changed the left side on my Cub Cadet as the right side was still working fine. It was an easy swap but the hydro gear units came without the input pully and fan, and also the control arm assembly and brake assembly, but these were easy to move over from the defective unit. I only had 2 issues with the swap. The control arm bolt (#40 Torx) threads in the new unit were significantly rusted and I had to flush the rust out with lots of WD40 and slowly working the bolt deeper until it would fully seat as intended. -Not this is a tapered hole and some play between it and the control arm plates is necessary when the bolt is fully tightened. My other issue was two of the wheel studs had defective threads and the lug nuts would not even start. This was resolved by carefully chasing the threads with an expensive die. The RH transmission did not have wheel stud issues, so you may not either.
Note to Cub owners: These wheel studs are larger than o the Cubby. You will need to purchase 1/2"-20 lug nuts (1$ each at my local store) The existing wheels will accept the larger studs.
