Very Cost Effective High Speed Camera

I got this camera because I had some things I wanted to film at high speeds in order to play it back in slow motion. I got exactly what I expected. If you want high speed video for a decent cost, this is definitely a way to go. ONE CAUTION: If you expect to film at high speeds and obtain the resolution that you see on YouTube (high speed HD), you WILL be disappointed. Pay attention to the resolution at different speeds. As the fps rate increases, the resolution decreases. Everything is still visible and it worked great for me, but if you want high speed HD, you will need to spend a lot on a professional high speed camera. The resolution and image quality of regular videos and stills is also great. I really like the optical zoom. So many cameras today just use digital zoom which actually just takes the image and enlarges the pixels in one particular area. All you do when you use digital zoom is lose image quality. You can digitally zoom images later in Photoshop if needed. This camera has optical zoom which uses lenses so you don't lose image quality.
