THIS is a superior product. Always have it with you. Be prepared.
Tried two brands - the same spray and the same amount of product but different packaging/plastic sleeve. THIS one is far thinner, less bulky, and is lighter - yet has the same safety cap that prevents accidental spraying. In fact, THIS one is easier to tell if you have it the right way up in your hand without looking.
I've used this exact same brand once on a (mentally ill / druggie?) street person who wanted to attack me, at lunchtime on a busy downtown street in a big city. Just all of a sudden. After a short spray to his face he went down so fast it surprised me. From holding his fists up to punch me to holding his face while down on the pavement in two seconds flat. No more fight in him. I called for the police (twice) but they only took a description over the phone and never showed. After 30 minutes the homeless guy got up wiping his face and slowly moved away. That was an education for me: be prepared to defend yourself.
Between being barked at and charged by large dogs, and the drug-addled people living at the bus stops near me - I have recommended this to my neighbors. And to you.
