It works, but..
I'm ok with getting what I paid for, but this is riding the line between that and useless. Don't get me wrong...The setup is easy, the size is nice, it looks slick on my desk, and it gets plenty loud. But the problem I have is the quality of sound. There is a constant static sound emitting from it, whether I'm playing music or not. I assume it's with the very low-quality 3.5 mm jack that they used that's causing the problem, but I'm not 100%. Even though that's the only REAL problem the unit has it, it's a BIG one. What good are speakers that sound like a 1920's Victrola?!
The answer is they're not in case you were wondering.

Turned out perfect for what I needed!
I don't use a tripod very often, so I wanted something small. As a matter of fact, I was hoping it would fit inside my Pelican camera/laptop bag (which it did). The Manfrotto name is synonymous with quality, and this product didn't disappoint. I was a little stunned at how sturdy it is for such a compact tripod. I had bought another larger one for the same amount of money (Polaroid), and it doesn't even come close to the same sturdiness. I'll be selling that one at the next garage sale. I got this tripod just in time too. I was invited to work a presidential campaign event here locally, and it got a workout right off the bat. It held my iPhone 6S+ and Nikon D3300 throughout the evening. And it was quick and easy to set up and break down. The bag is also made of high quality material. All in all, it was a great purchase for me.
