There and back again.
As a huge self proclaimed nerd and massive fan of everything middle earth, I love this game. I sat and played for four whole hours as soon as it arrived and completed the plot of the first film, while talking along with all the voice lines. The graphics are good and entertaining, and the humour is just right. It's perfect for kids too; instead of Thrain's head being cut off brutally, it flies up in the air and lands back on his neck but facing the wrong way.
As for the copy itself, the quality is excellent. It's obviously not brand new as it's not still in its wrapper, but it may as well be. The disc is in perfect condition and the case itself bears only a few scratches, seemingly from being slid out from its place between two other games on a shelf so often.
To conclude: I am very pleased and glad I purchased it.
