GREAT ALL-IN-ONE CLOCK RADIO / CD PLAYER
Due to health issues that had me doing more mattress time, I was needing a clock radio that had a built in CD player. None are produced any more, so I went looking on eBay and came across the Sony ICF-CD863V Dream Machine that is perfect for my needs.
I like the smallish footprint and that it has not only a sleep timer, but a nap timer as well. The sound is fantastic and it has a "woofer" with a dial control. Thank goodness, because when dialed up, there is too much bass.
The screen has a brightness control that works well, going from bright in daytime to very dim during the night. You can select to do it manually or put it on automatic dimming.
Reading the reviews, some claim the controls are too complicated, but I printed the manual and followed the instructions and found that all works as it should.
If you are needing such a radio, I highly recommend this one. My only complaint is that Sony stopped making it, denying others of this neat device.
