Great book I've bought 4 copies
2 of 2 found this helpful I've had my copy since it was published (1992). I used it to change my cooking style along with a book called Healthy Homestyle Cooking. I used these books to loose a lot of weight and keep most of it off for 15 years. This book shows how to use plain yogurt, fat free evaporated milk and lots of other items to make great food that is not fattening. I'm a guy and a serious cook - I've bought copies of this book for two of my girlfriends and my mother. I bought this last copy 4-09 because my current girl friend wanted to borrow my copy and I didn't want to be without it. Try the Lasagna noodle rollups, curried chicken breast - creamy coleslaw or potato salad recipe you won't believe how great low or no fat can taste. I own about 300 cookbooks and I still use this book regularly.

Very Thin & Extremely over priced. I expected more from Thermardor it looks cheap.
Nice wood just very thin does not fill the griddle depth. If I could have seen this in person I would not buy it. If this was 1/4 of the cost I might consider it. It's extremely over priced. It should be 66% thicker. For less than 1/2 of cost I could buy a quality Boos Block and cut it to the griddle dimensions. I probably will end up doing just that and using this as small veggie board a very expensive one. Hindsight is always 20-20. With a $9800.00 range it's ridiculous. I'm not a wealthy guy and live in a small house. I expected more from Thermador I can't recommend this item and wouldn't buy it again. Gary L

Every one should view this to understand the war
1 of 1 found this helpful Great look at history and well done. Every history buff and student should watch this. The photography alone is worth it. It doesn't cover some Southern opinions and sentiments, but I think it is fair. It is a well documented and extremely well done program. I now need to buy K Burns Lewis and Clark.
