HP G71
The cd/dvd drive on my HP 5320 quit. I purchased a replacement, but the machine still would not recognize it, so I purchased a HP G71. It is fast, and I like the desktop background photos, HOWEVER, I am considering formatting the machine and installing Windows XP. Windows 7 is not compatible with most of the programs that I use. Even Age of Empires does not function properly on Windows 7. The system degrades the laptop. It is not possible to link both computers with a simple PC Link. I was very happy with Onlook Express, but 7 limits you to Windows Live. I don't like it. The one thing that I had high hopes for was the lightscribe, however the other malfunctions have curtailed efforts with that option. In addition, the taskbar is continually interfering with any working programs by overlaying the bottom bar of the operating program.
I'll leave you with that. The machine would be great if it had a better operating system.

lid missing
I would like it better if they would send the screened lid / cover that was not included with it.
