Close but no cigar.
Initially looked to be an exact match. However when I tried to assemble it, I realized it was slightly different. The hub in the center with the splines was solid and mine simply had the splines jutting out of the hub. With a little careful work with my rotary grinder, I cut away the cylinder leaving the splines. At that point it fit perfectly and worked as the old one did.

Not new?
Charged up but even after repeated charging cycles, it only lasts for a very short time. Doesn't appear to be a new battery. I discarded it and put my old battery back in the phone.
