Best printer for "my" mobile solution
Epson XP-830.
I needed a front loading printer due to space.
I was a little concerned due to this item being a "Grade B" product, and half retail price. When it arrived I was pleased that it had come in original packaging as if I had picked it up from one of the high street outlets.
Everything was just fine. Setup is quite easy with touch screen display prompting you for the next step.
Print for photos is quicker than I have been used to and quality is just great. A sheet of text is just speedy.
Front loading paper trays do not hold a lot of paper, A4 tray holds around 50 sheets of regular paper and the other tray around 20 of whatever size photo paper your using.
There is also an android app (Epson iprint) which is fab for printing your photos straight from your phone over WiFi or WiFi direct.
Firmware update is prompted on screen and works over WiFi.
Another thing worth mentioning is the automatic paper tray will come out and tilt the display when printing starts, a nice feature to have.
BTW I brought this for use in a motorhome.

Great looking monitor with features to match.
1 of 1 found this helpful Bought for a self build conversion with a substantial solar (450w) and and 4 battery set-up.
At £147 I did question the extra expense but after installing and testing it's accuracy I realise just how useful this will be on our off-grid excursions. I was concerned that a 200A shunt might not withstand some of the short term current surges but it can take up to 900A briefly.
I really can not put into words what a great piece of kit this is, I was running a convector heater (1250w) via an inverter the monitor display indicated I had 2.4 hours remaining from the 400ah of batteries, I switched on the engine to activate the split charge relay and the display updated to say that I now had 12.5 hours at that rate of power draw.
The only drawback is there is no cover for the shunt. I can live with that.....or make one.
